Compost Fertilizer Program
This program is the bee's knees. Customers rave about the life it brings into their yard. A natural approach that will give your yard the boost it needs. 1 application in the spring and 1 in the fall. Roughly 1/4 inch of compost is spread over the whole yard on broadcast- spreading the compost into every little nook and cranny the yard has. We then use a drag mat to give the yard a nice even layer, further resulting in great compost coverage. 8 cents/SqFt or $500 minimum per application.
Weed Control Program
We offer an eco-friendly weed control program that can go hand-in-hand with our fertilizer program. Combined, it offers the ultimate solution to achieving yard domination. Pre-emergent and broadleaf post emergent.
Soil Quality Restoration
No fertilizer or weed control will make a difference if you have no real life in your soil. Most homes built after 1995 had sod installed right on top of clay. All the beautiful top soil has been stripped away or sold resulting in poor growth. THIS IS STEP 1 before anything else if you have had sod installed and it has resulted in poor growth. We first use a deep core aerator. Then roughly 1/4 inch of compost is spread over the whole yard on broadcast- it will get in every little nook and cranny the yard has. Our premium seed blend is then added to the whole yard. We then use a drag mat to give the yard a nice even layer, further resulting in great compost coverage. Those aerated cores will act as a sponge for new growth. It'll slow storm water runoff and allow the new seed to set root. Within 6 weeks, you will have a brand new, lush yard. 20 cents/SqFt
THE BIOTURF METHOD
Over the years we believe we have perfected our compost program and soil restoration methods.

We use a broadcast spreader when applying compost. This allows the compost to spread into every little nook and cranny the yard has. There are some beautiful composting machines out there, but most of them are just dropping rather than broadcasting it. We find a broadcast spreader works the best.

Over the years we have tried every seed blend imaginable. Some cheap, some really expensive. The blend we use has worked the best based on trial and observation. Not only that, but the blend doesn’t break the bank either- allowing us to pass the savings onto the customer.

Last but not least, we use a drag mat over the whole yard for the final touch. Making sure that the yard has a nice even layer. An important step to ensure no burning, no overloaded nitrogen piles, and to make sure no spots were missed.
