Payment, Termination, Program and Liability
Terms and Conditions- The term of this agreement commences on the date signed in this agreement and will remain in
effect until terminated and is subject to the termination clause as noted.
Payment- The client must pay the Sustainable Stewards and/or Bioturf for services rendered. Prices will be discussed and agreed
upon between the Sustainable Stewards and/or Bioturf and the client. A 3.5% convenience fee is added to invoices to those wishing to
pay online. Sustainable Stewards and/or Bioturf has the right to halt services and/or terminate the agreement if payment has not been
received by the billing due date. The client can ask Sustainable Stewards and/or Bioturf for different payment methods. For lawn
care/maintenance only- We bill at the beginning of every month for that current month. -Example- Sustainable Stewards and/or Bioturf knows that
in the month of June, a particular yard will be mowed 4 times/every Tuesday. The client will be billed for the 4 mowings at the beginning of June and will have roughly 2
weeks until the bill is due. If one of these mowings does not happen or gets pushed into the following month due to unforeseen circumstances, the contracting officer
will credit that amount to the following month. A late fee of $15 per week may also be charged if payment has not been received by the due date. Rate increases are
not common but possible. Rate increases will be discussed before charged- increases will reflect current economic price increases while trying to remain competitive.
All other services- We bill after services are rendered unless discussed otherwise. For larger projects, a deposit may be
required.
Termination- Either party may terminate this agreement by notifying the other party. Before termination can be
completed, the client must have all dues paid for services rendered by Sustainable Stewards LLC and/or Bioturf. If the client terminates
after payment and before the month’s services are completed, there will not be a refund.
Program- Service practices- Our goal is to build a healthy yard that will help keep weeds minimal and at bay
(our natural fertilizer, seeding, weed treatments, aeration, dethatch, and cleanups can help accomplish this). This can
take multiple seasons to accomplish. Sustainable Stewards is not responsible for growth or treatment/service results.
Every yard has different soil and may accomplish better results at a different rate. The client may also play a role in how
well the results are accomplished (watering, yard use, compaction, chemicals, etc.). Please be aware that healthy soil invites life into the yard. Your turf thrives in better soil, but so does other life. It is the client's responsibility to monitor and take action of any weeds, bugs, insects, etc..See our FAQ or call if you have any specific questions about our services or processes.
Liability
Sustainable Stewards and/or Bioturf shall not be liable to the client or any other person or entity for any indirect, incidental, special, or
consequential damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, any damages, death, loss, delay, expense, or
inconvenience. The client agrees to indemnify and hold Sustainable Stewards and/or Bioturf, volunteers, employees, owners, or any
other person or entity harmless from any claims and/or liability.
