We will send an invoice to your email. Most invoices will be sent after the services are rendered. With higher paying projects, we may ask for a deposit or full payment prior to service. The same goes for those who are on our mowing maintenance routes. If you wish to pay online, there will be an added 3.5% card fee added to the invoice. If you wish to pay by check, please let us know and we will adjust the total without the card fee.

Yes. If you've had any seed put down, compost, or a soil restoration completed, please follow the watering schedule below.
Week 1- Am and PM- 20 minutes
Skip 1 day out of the week.
Week 2 through 5- AM only- 20 minutes
Skip 2 days out of the week, not consecutive.
Watering in the PM increases the chances for fungus. The first week of PM watering will be fine. Do not water so much as too create pooling. Use your best judgement.
When watering- water around sunrise and sunset. This will help avoid any burning that would happen if you water during the day when the sun is beating down on the grass.
If there is rain in the schedule, you don't need to water.
Soil restoration
1x every 5-10 years. Normally 1x is good for life.
Compost fertilizer program
yearly- 1x spring and 1x fall
Pre-emergent-
yearly- 1x spring and 1x fall
However, some clients receive an extra service pre-summer to help avoid summer crabgrass.
Post-emergent-
yearly- 2x spring and 2x fall
Need an extra spray? Give us a call and we can come out
Congratulations! This is the first step with homes that had sod put right on top of clay.
Now follow below-
Follow the watering schedule on our FAQ page.
Do not worry about weeds during this period of time.
You can mow, but let the grass get long before mowing. 5-6 inches- this will allow for better root development. Avoid clumping/smothering by bagging during this time of growth. Once the 5 week watering schedule is completed, you can cut the grass how prefer. Cutting below a 3.5 is not recommended.
You can now move on to weed control and fertilizer.
DO NOT SKIP on your grub treatment. Grubs love a great looking yard with new roots and better soil.
For our pre-emergent we use granulated corn gluten meal- Controls Crabgrass, Creeping Bentgrass, Smartweed, Dandelions, Redroot Pig Weed, Purslane, Lambsquarter, Foxtail, Barnyard Grass, Bermuda Grass. As with any lawn treatment, it's not 100%, but we found it works pretty well. Below you will find an image that is directly from the website on percentage control over time.
